Started working at Armando Milani Design in 1994, an important figure in contemporary graphic design. Member of the prestigious AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) and formerly partner of Massimo Vignelli. I oversaw the New York Chapter, where I focused largely on corporate identity and branding for high profile international companies like Bottega Veneta (Italian fashion label), Siba (British water purification sytems), and worked on public projects for the City of New York.
In most recent years I focused on the publishing industry a stimulating and highly creative field. I have designed and art-directed several internationally distributed magazines such as Art Byte, Art on Paper, Blind Spot, Bell'Italia, and France-Ameriqúe. Served as Creative Director for Bell'Italia, Mondadori's best-selling magazine. I collaborate on a regular basis with Aperture Foundation, Princeton Architectural Press, Sanctuary Rare Books and the Italian Goverment Tourist Board. I have also designed websites for several of my clients including starnstudio.com, artonpaper.com and blindspot.com among others.
I have build an extensive portofolio of books and monographs that I have designed for renowned artists such as Doug and Mike Starn, Richard Misrach, Thomas Ruff, Clifford Ross, Christopher Bucklow and recently produced one of Aperture's Foundation bestselling books, On the Beach, by R. Misrach. Other titles include Letters to a Young Artist, and John Baldessari, Yours in Food with text by several acclaimed writers and artists like Paul Auster, David Byrne, Dave Eggers, and others.
